The Sirolli approach echoes what would be regarded as best practice in community-based economic development, that is it is person-centered; goes at the pace of the client; encourages and supports people - does not dictate their actions;

Mining

After more than 25 years dedicated to local community development we started to receive invitations to speak at mining conferences. Mining companies in Australia, the USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Equador invited us to share with them our approach to community development and to train their personnel. They were speaking in terms of "social license" or "triple bottom line" which is critical to the success of Sirolli's community development and maintaining the mines' social license to operate. For information contact suzette@sirolli.com, www.sirollimining.com.

Aboriginal

The first ever Enterprise Facilitation project had Australian Aboriginal clients and personnel. Twenty four years later aboriginal communities keep expressing interest for our work. A very special project in Australia’ Northern Territory is taking Enterprise Facilitation to the Yolngu people…but this time in their language!
